Fragrance Family: Fresh
Scent Type: Fresh Citrus & Fruits
Key Notes: Bitter Orange – Sweet Orange, Ylang-Ylang Extra Oil, Angelica Seeds
Fragrance Description: This fragrance features enchantingly complex aromas of blossoming orange trees and beautiful groves. It’s a fresh, spicy, and refined scent inspired by the settings of Villa Malaparte and the iconic film Le Mépris (1963) that was filmed on the Isle of Capri.
About the Bottle: The yellow color represents the citrus elements and beaming sun under clear skies and the horizon on the Isle of Capri. The different colors on the 19-69 bottles symbolize a rainbow, which in 1969 stood for peace and freedom. Each 19-69 product is handmade in Italy; small variations should be considered part of the character. All raw ingredients are carefully considered and selected to ensure the finest quality.
About the Fragrance:
"I have always been captivated by legendary, trendsetting films. The movie Le Mépris from 1963 featuring Brigitte Bardot and Jack Palance is both iconic and stylish. Directed by Jean-Luc Godard, it is referred to as one of the greatest works of art produced in postwar Europe."
